Balance, Precision & Natural Harmony

Why a nose correction?

The center of the face

As the most defining facial feature, the nose plays a crucial role in overall aesthetics. Our rhinoplasty techniques focus on enhancing facial balance while preserving natural harmony.

Safe & gentle

Our minimally invasive techniques prioritize patient safety and comfort. With advanced methods and a gentle approach, we ensure effective treatments with minimal risk, faster recovery, and natural-looking results.

Breathing

Rhinoplasty not only enhances appearance but also improves nasal function. Our techniques help restore clear, effortless breathing while maintaining natural aesthetics.

As the nose not only characterises the appearance, but also fulfils important functions, the plastic surgeon needs to work with precision.

Many patients wish to have their nose corrected for aesthetic reasons. The function of the organ is often not restricted, so there is no need for action here. In these cases, it is nevertheless important to maintain nasal function and not cause any deterioration.  There are often severe or even mild and unknown functional disorders.  A detailed examination of the nose is therefore also the basis of treatment planning for purely aesthetic procedures. In many cases, a primarily aesthetic rhinoplasty can not only improve the visual appearance, but also the general quality of life by improving function.

Aesthetic-functional rhinoplasty therefore addresses two aspects of the nose, namely the appearance and function of the nose. Minimally invasive and gentle surgical techniques are used wherever possible.

We - the Aesthetic Clinic Med - Klinik im Kö-Bogen in Düsseldorf - have already treated over 4000 patients with this method.

What is an aesthetic-functional rhinoplasty?

Aesthetic Harmony & Essential Function

Ideally, the nose is both a piece of jewellery and a functional organ. The face is the frame and the nose is the work of art, a complex organ system with many functions, of which moistening and purifying the air and smelling by no means describe all the functions that the nose is capable of performing.

If a correction is made to the nose, this always has an effect on the air flow in the nose. Aesthetically functional rhinoplasty addresses the fulfilment of the patient's desire for more harmony in appearance, but also quality of life through good breathing.

Achieving the desired result thanks to 3D simulation

Personalized Perfection

Dr Oliver Schumacher works with our patients on the 3D simulator and works with them to find the right nose shape for them. As a rule, our patients want inconspicuous noses that match their natural appearance.

With the simulation, not only the size but also the shape of the nose can be customised. The Crisalix system makes it possible to simulate results that can actually be realised realistically.

How does your rhinoplasty work?

Surgery time: 1-2 hours

We take you by the hand and accompany you individually every step of the way to your rhinoplasty. We look forward to welcoming you to our clinic and discussing the next steps with you in detail.

1

What are your goals and needs?

Before your rhinoplasty, we will discuss all your goals and wishes and discuss the next steps together. Either on an outpatient basis or in our clinic with admission to the ward.

2

What does your future nose look like in the 3D simulator?

Our 3D simulators are the best way to assess the desired result of your rhinoplasty in advance. This allows us to find the best nose shape for you individually.

3

 Preliminary investigation and detailed analysis

Before we can start correcting your nose, we will get an exact picture of the situation. A rhinoscopy is unavoidable here, but completely painless. You will also benefit from an aesthetic analysis.

4

Carrying out the rhinoplasty

After the first individual steps mentioned above, the time has finally come: the biggest step towards a life with more well-being is imminent - the correction of your nose in the operating theatre. Our specialist Dr Oliver Schumacher will perform this procedure in around 1-2 hours.

5

Care: Outpatient/inpatient

After the surgery, we will be happy to look after you on site in our clinic on the ward or as an outpatient without you being permanently present.

6

Follow-up examinations until healing is complete

In the first six months after your rhinoplasty, we will accompany you at regular intervals during the healing process. You will wear a tape bandage for the first 6 days after the surgery. You will be fit for work and socialising again after around 7 to 8 days. Our follow-up examinations take place at the following intervals: after 1 week, 4 weeks, 3 months, 6 months.

The ‘average nose’ for men and women can be visualised by photographing 1000 men and women and placing their noses ‘on top of each other’. This creates the most visually appealing nose shape. Most of our patients orientate themselves on this average nose. Especially when deformities or the consequences of accidents need to be corrected as inconspicuously as possible. In this case, the focus is not on the aspect of beauty, but on normality. Only very few patients decide to have their nose corrected in a special style in order to stand out from the crowd.

Important information on the correction or post-correction of noses

essential insights

Height from the base to the root approx. 1/3 of the profile, nasal bridge straight, at most a slight rise to the tip of the nose at a precisely defined breakpoint (weakly defined supratip breakpoint), nasolabial angle approx. 90°.

Height from the base to the root slightly less or 1/3 of the profile, nasal bridge straight with a clear turning point from which the nasal profile rises slightly to the tip of the nose (well-defined supratip breakpoint), nasolabial angle between 95 and a maximum of 105°.

The cost of a rhinoplasty depends on the complexity of your individual case and your desired result. No two noses are the same – which is why each treatment is carefully tailored to you. On average, the investment ranges between 30,000–50,000 AED.

For a precise quote and personalized treatment plan, we recommend scheduling a consultation with our head surgeon. Our focus is on natural, harmonious results that enhance your facial features while maintaining function. Precision, patient satisfaction, and long-term results are at the heart of what we do.
